Just got home, figured I'd drop my thoughts. Very weak on the line. Pinkston is now playing DE, and they are running double tights one back 90% of the time. The quarterback position looked rough, to say the least, a lot of guys who haven't really had much experience under center. I will say that these kids play with heart, #44 no idea what his name is impressed me. That kid is not the most talented but he gives it his all, he got rocked on one play and got right back up and went to the huddle. I do think this team will be better than people expect (if they don't get completely down on themselves in the first 5 games). The defense is weak up the middle but does play with heart. From a fans standpoint I really think I'll have more fun watching this team than I have the past couple of seasons. Overall I came away with a better feeling than what I thought I would, and considering it's THS second or third scrimmage I'm not really that disappointed. I don't know if we've ever beat them in a scrimmage. I'm going to try and catch the JIB scrimmage tomorrow and try to post my thoughts on that.
